Fueled by you.
In 1956, L.W. (Lu) Taylor revolutionized aviation fueling with the invention of the fiberglass filter coalescer and soon went on to start Velcon Filters (originally Enfab Inc.), in Colorado, which provided hoses, filters and other parts to the aviation fueling industry. Lu passed his passion for aviation on to his son, Dave, and grandson, Chase Taylor.
The Taylors grew the company into one of the most respected fueling products distributors in the world, with global clients large and small. After selling the company in 2009, Dave and his son, Chase, moved to Montana and launched Petroleum Equipment Aviation Refueling. Lu Taylor continues to play a large role at PEAR.
While the name has changed, the philosophy of family and service hasn’t. At PEAR, we continue to focus on lasting relationships. First, by carrying products of the highest quality, ones you know will last and perform their intended functions well. In fact, we are the only ContiTech distributor in the U.S. and Mexico.
Second, by providing the kind of customer service Lu always did—answering questions, offering timely responses, helping spec products and doing what we say we’ll do in every way including delivery, price, follow-up and quality assurance.
Our family has served commercial and private aviation refueling for more than five decades. The relationships we make and the customer loyalty we build continue to propel us today.
